The beauty of Mixed Martial Arts is that it has been able to put together entertaining cards as a whole. Casual and the hardcore fans watch more than the main event, and come this Saturday night the co-main event looks to steal the thunder away from B.J. Penn and Frankie Edgar. The co-main event as Dana White puts it softly, is a freak show. The Ultimate Fighting Championship president admittedly has always spoken out against organizations that put on freak shows and now has found that he may be putting on the biggest one in history. This time its The Boxer vs. The Mixed Martial Artist. What this will settle, no one knows for sure, but one thing that for sure is that these two guys are way past their prime. Its purely for entertainment and to try and settle the score between boxing and MMA. With that said there is a stacked lineup this Saturday night in Boston. There is the much-anticipated rematch for the lightweight title and also Kenny Florian and Gray Maynard square off for what might turn out to be the No. 1 contender spot in the lightweight division. The UFC will get back to airing two preliminary bouts starting at 8 p.m. Central time on network cable television. Pay-Per-View Bouts Frankie Edgar vs. BJ Penn Randy Couture vs. James Toney Demian Maia vs. Mario Miranda Kenny Florian vs. Gray Maynard Nate Diaz vs. Marcus Davis Preliminary Bouts Joe Lauzon vs. Gabe Ruediger Dan Miller vs. John Salter Andre Winner vs. Nik Lentz Nick Osipczak vs. Greg Soto Mike Pierce vs. Amilcar Alves.
